Liguria should actually reach the sea her, because she looks out to sea this country and in a venerable Western port cities of Genoa has always been the most important one.  Among the most famous wines of Liguria are Vermentino, Pigato and Rossese. In the delicacies of the olive oil from olive to name Taggiasca particularly which is one of the world's best. Also fish and herbs, and especially the Ligurian Pesto Genovese deserve special mention.
